2. Our Roles
Diversified Payday may process information in different capacities depending on the relationship and activity involved.
For information submitted by an employer concerning its employees, contractors, payroll, tax obligations, and related business records, the employer generally determines why the information is processed. Diversified Payday processes that information to provide the platform and contracted services.
For information collected directly through our public website, account administration, subscription billing, support operations, security systems, and our own business activities, Diversified Payday may determine the purposes and methods of processing.
Employees and contractors seeking to exercise rights concerning information entered by their employer should generally contact that employer first. We will provide reasonable assistance where appropriate and legally required.

Diversified Payday does not move, receive, hold, debit, transmit, or distribute payroll funds.
When an employer uses direct-deposit features, the platform prepares a bank-ready payroll instruction file, including a NACHA-format ACH file where applicable.
The employer reviews, downloads, and submits that file to its own financial institution. The employer's financial institution originates the payments.
Diversified Payday:

- Does not verify ownership of employer or worker bank accounts
- Does not guarantee that a bank will accept a file
- Does not control bank submission deadlines, settlement, returns, reversals, or funding requirements

Bank account information is used to generate payroll instructions and related records, not to initiate funding draws by Diversified Payday.
