California Privacy Policy
This California Privacy Policy supplements the Diversified Payday Privacy Policy and provides disclosures for California residents.

1. Scope
This notice applies to personal information subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, collectively referred to as the CCPA.
This notice does not expand the application of the CCPA to information or persons that the law excludes or exempts.
2. Diversified Payday's Roles
Diversified Payday primarily processes employee, contractor, payroll, tax, and related customer information as a service provider or contractor on behalf of business customers.
The employer or business customer generally determines the purposes for which that information is processed.
Diversified Payday may separately act as a business for information collected through:
- The public website
- Customer acquisition and account registration
- Subscription administration
- Customer support
- Security operations
- Direct business communications
- Analytics and advertising measurement
- Our own legal and operational activities
Employees and contractors should generally direct requests concerning employer-controlled payroll records to their employer. Diversified Payday will assist business customers as required by applicable law and contractual obligations.

During the preceding 12 months, Diversified Payday may have collected or processed the following categories of personal information.

Geolocation Data
We may infer an approximate geographic area from an Internet Protocol address. We do not intentionally collect precise geolocation through the public website for payroll-service purposes.

- Salary
- Hours
- Bonuses
- Deductions
- Benefits
- Payroll history
Sensitive Personal Information
Examples include:
- Social Security numbers
- Government identifiers
- Account credentials
- Bank account information
- Tax information
- Precise contents of certain communications where applicable
- Information concerning an individual's racial or ethnic origin when included in legally required employment records
- Information concerning citizenship or immigration status when lawfully processed for employment-related purposes
Diversified Payday does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under the CCPA, except as necessary and permitted to provide requested services, maintain security, comply with law, and perform other legally authorized activities.
Inferences
We may create limited inferences concerning website interest, likely customer needs, fraud risk, account security, or service usage.

Disclosures are limited to purposes permitted by applicable law and relevant agreements.
7. Sale and Sharing
Diversified Payday does not sell personal information for monetary compensation.
Diversified Payday may use advertising and conversion-measurement technologies on its public website. Depending on how a provider uses identifiers and website activity, California law may treat this as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising even though no money is exchanged.
Applicable users may opt out through the Your Privacy Choices link.
Diversified Payday does not intentionally sell or share:
- Social Security numbers
- Tax records
- Payroll records
- Bank account information
- Wage information
- Employee or contractor profiles
- Authenticated platform activity
for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Diversified Payday does not have actual knowledge that it sells or shares the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
8. California Privacy Rights
Subject to legal exceptions and verification requirements, California residents may have the right to:
Know
Request information about categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes, categories of recipients, and categories sold or shared.
Access
Request specific pieces of personal information maintained about the requester.
Delete
Request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions including legal, tax, payroll, security, fraud-prevention, contractual, and recordkeeping requirements.
Correct
Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
Opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising through Your Privacy Choices.
Limit Certain Uses of Sensitive Personal Information
Request limitation where a business uses sensitive personal information for purposes covered by the statutory right to limit. Diversified Payday does not currently use sensitive personal information for such purposes.
Non-Discrimination
Exercise privacy rights without unlawful discrimination or retaliation.
9. How to Submit a Request
Requests concerning information controlled by an employer should generally be submitted to that employer.

We may request information necessary to verify identity, authority, account relationship, and the scope of the request.
We will not request more verification information than reasonably necessary.
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted. We may require evidence of authorization and direct identity verification from the consumer.
10. Global Privacy Control
Where required by California law, Diversified Payday treats a qualifying Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for the browser or device transmitting the signal.
A browser-based signal may not identify an account holder across every browser or device. Logged-in users should also use Your Privacy Choices when they want an account-associated preference applied where supported.
11. Retention
Retention periods depend on the type of information, customer relationship, legal requirements, security needs, and operational purpose.
Payroll, tax, accounting, and employment records may be retained after an account is cancelled where required or reasonably necessary.
Eligible cancelled customers are intended to retain read-only access to historical records for at least seven years, subject to legal, technical, security, and operational limitations.
