This Acceptable Use Policy explains permitted and prohibited uses of the Diversified Payday website, payroll platform, and related services.

1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all Customers, authorized Users, website visitors, and other persons who access or use Diversified Payday services.
It is incorporated into the Diversified Payday Terms and Conditions.
Capitalized terms not defined in this policy have the meanings assigned in the Terms and Conditions.
2. General Requirement
The Services may be used only:
- For lawful business purposes
- By authorized persons
- In accordance with applicable law
- In accordance with the Terms and Conditions
- In accordance with this policy
- Within the functions and permissions provided by the platform
A Customer is responsible for the conduct of its authorized Users and for activity performed through its account.
3. Authorized Payroll Use
The Services may be used to:
- Calculate payroll
- Maintain payroll records
- Generate payroll reports
- Prepare employee and contractor payments
- Generate bank-ready payroll instruction files
- Generate checks and pay statements
- Prepare tax forms
- Support authorized tax filings
- Maintain employee and contractor records
- Perform other lawful payroll and workforce-administration activities supported by the platform
Customers must have lawful authority to process the information they enter.
4. Prohibited Illegal Activity
The Services may not be used to:
- Violate federal, state, local, or other applicable law
- Facilitate criminal conduct
- Conceal illegal payments
- Evade taxes
- Falsify employment or payroll records
- Obstruct a government investigation
- Launder money
- Fund unlawful activity
- Pay workers for illegal services
- Create fraudulent tax documents
- Submit materially false information to a financial institution or government agency
- Assist another person in violating the law
Diversified Payday may restrict or report activity where required by law.
5. Fraud and Misrepresentation
Users may not:
- Create accounts using false identities
- Misrepresent authority to act for an employer
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Create fake employees or contractors
- Process unauthorized payroll
- Manipulate payroll records to obtain money or benefits
- Submit bank information without authorization
- Misrepresent worker classifications
- Falsify wages, hours, deductions, reimbursements, or tax information
- Use the Services to support identity theft
- Create deceptive or fraudulent business records
- Misrepresent eligibility for discounts, trials, credits, or special pricing
Diversified Payday may request verification where fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected.
6. Bank and Payment Information
Users may not:
- Enter bank information without authorization
- Generate payroll files for accounts they are not authorized to use
- Attempt to debit or credit accounts unlawfully
- Alter payroll files outside authorized workflows for fraudulent purposes
- Submit test or demonstration files for live financial processing
- Circumvent validation or certification requirements
- Misrepresent account ownership or account-holder type
- Use the Services to facilitate unauthorized transfers
The Customer is responsible for reviewing all banking information and payroll instruction files before submission to its financial institution.
7. Worker and Tax Information
Users may not knowingly:
- Enter false Social Security numbers or taxpayer identification numbers
- Misstate worker classifications
- Misrepresent residency or work locations
- Falsify withholding elections
- Conceal taxable compensation
- Manipulate deductions unlawfully
- Generate false W-2, 1099, payroll, or tax records
- Use another person’s identity without authorization
- Process records for fictitious workers
- Alter tax records to mislead an agency, worker, financial institution, or third party
Customers remain responsible for determining worker classification and complying with wage, tax, and employment laws.
8. Unauthorized Payroll Bureau Use
A Customer may use the Services only for its own organization and authorized related entities unless Diversified Payday expressly approves another arrangement in writing.
Users may not:
- Resell the Services without authorization
- Operate an unauthorized payroll bureau through the platform
- Process payroll for unrelated third parties without approval
- Share one subscription among unrelated businesses
- Transfer account access to another organization
- Use one Customer account to avoid fees applicable to separate employers
Diversified Payday may require separate accounts, subscriptions, or written approval.
9. Security Restrictions
Users may not:
- Attempt to access another Customer’s information
- Share individual credentials
- Circumvent authentication
- Bypass permissions
- Probe or test systems without authorization
- Scan for vulnerabilities
- Attempt to obtain source code or protected technical information
- Disable security controls
- Interfere with logging or audit records
- Introduce malware
- Upload malicious files
- Launch denial-of-service activity
- Use automated tools to overload or disrupt the Services
- Exploit errors or vulnerabilities
- Attempt unauthorized administrative access
- Intercept data or communications
- Use compromised accounts
Suspected vulnerabilities must be reported to Diversified Payday rather than exploited or publicly disclosed before reasonable remediation.
10. Data and Privacy Misuse
Users may not:
- Collect personal information without lawful authority
- Access records unrelated to their job or authorization
- Use payroll data for harassment, retaliation, discrimination, or unlawful surveillance
- Sell employee or contractor information
- Use sensitive information for unauthorized marketing
- Export data for an unlawful purpose
- Upload information that the Customer has no right to process
- Disclose payroll, tax, banking, or identification information improperly
- Use the Services to violate privacy, consumer-protection, employment, or data-security laws
Customers must limit access to personnel with a legitimate business need.
11. Harassment and Harmful Conduct
The Services may not be used to:
- Harass
- Threaten
- Stalk
- Intimidate
- Defame
- Exploit
- Discriminate unlawfully
- Retaliate against workers
- Distribute hateful or abusive content
- Facilitate violence
- Communicate unlawful threats
- Cause intentional harm to another person
Support channels may not be used to abuse, threaten, or harass Diversified Payday personnel or service providers.
12. Intellectual Property and Content Restrictions
Users may not:
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other rights
- Upload content without authorization
- Remove ownership notices
- Copy protected platform content for redistribution
- Use Diversified Payday branding without permission
- Reverse engineer protected portions of the Services except where applicable law prohibits restriction
- Create unauthorized derivative services
- Misrepresent ownership of templates, reports, software, or documentation
Customer Data remains subject to the rights and responsibilities stated in the Terms and Conditions.
13. System Integrity and Resource Abuse
Users may not:
- Use excessive automated requests
- Scrape the Services
- Run unauthorized bots
- Create excessive accounts
- Abuse trial programs
- Generate artificial traffic
- Circumvent usage limits
- Interfere with platform performance
- Use storage for unrelated bulk files
- Use the Services as a general file-hosting platform
- Attempt to consume unreasonable infrastructure resources
- Repeatedly submit malformed or harmful data
Diversified Payday may impose technical limits reasonably necessary to protect the Services.
14. Restricted Business Activities
Diversified Payday may prohibit or restrict use by businesses or activities that create unacceptable legal, financial, security, operational, or reputational risk.
Restricted activity may include:
- Illegal businesses
- Fraudulent operations
- Unlicensed regulated services
- Unlawful gambling
- Illegal controlled-substance activity
- Human trafficking
- Exploitation
- Deceptive financial services
- Money laundering
- Terrorist financing
- Sanctions evasion
- Unauthorized financial-transfer services
- Businesses prohibited by critical service providers
The presence of an industry or classification option in the platform does not mean Diversified Payday has approved that activity.
15. Sanctions and Export Restrictions
Users may not use the Services in violation of:
- United States sanctions
- Export-control laws
- Anti-boycott requirements
- Restrictions administered by the United States Department of the Treasury
- Restrictions administered by the United States Department of Commerce
- Other applicable trade restrictions
The Services may not be used by or for prohibited persons, entities, jurisdictions, or activities.
16. Communications and Messaging
Users may not use Diversified Payday communications features to:
- Send spam
- Send unauthorized marketing messages
- Violate messaging-consent requirements
- Mislead recipients
- Impersonate Diversified Payday
- Transmit unlawful or harmful content
- Circumvent opt-out requests
- Harvest contact information
- Send messages unrelated to authorized platform activity
Text messaging functions are also governed by the SMS and Messaging Terms.
17. Support and Administrative Interactions
Users must provide accurate information when requesting support.
Users may not:
- Submit knowingly false claims
- Manipulate support personnel
- Attempt to obtain access to another Customer’s account
- Misrepresent identity
- Request unauthorized data changes
- Abuse refund or chargeback procedures
- Threaten or harass personnel
- Attempt to bypass documented security procedures
Diversified Payday may require verification before making account, banking, access, or security changes.
18. Circumvention
Users may not attempt to avoid or circumvent:
- Subscription charges
- Employee or worker limits
- Account restrictions
- Security controls
- Plan limitations
- Trial limits
- Eligibility requirements
- Suspension
- Termination
- Privacy controls
- Verification requirements
- Technical protections
Creating replacement accounts after suspension or termination without approval is prohibited.
19. Monitoring and Investigation
Diversified Payday may review account activity, logs, support records, and technical information where reasonably necessary to:
- Maintain security
- Investigate suspected violations
- Prevent fraud
- Respond to legal process
- Protect Customers and Users
- Enforce agreements
- Maintain platform integrity
Diversified Payday is not required to monitor every activity or prevent every violation.
20. Enforcement
If Diversified Payday reasonably believes this policy has been violated, it may:
- Request information
- Require corrective action
- Restrict a feature
- Remove content
- Suspend a User
- Suspend an account
- Block a transaction or file-generation function
- Refuse support for prohibited activity
- Terminate access
- Preserve relevant records
- Notify affected Customers
- Notify service providers
- Report activity where legally required
- Cooperate with lawful investigations
Enforcement decisions may consider:
- Severity
- Intent
- Risk
- Repetition
- Harm
- Cooperation
- Legal requirements
- Whether the violation can be corrected
Immediate action may be taken when delay could create harm, fraud, unauthorized access, legal exposure, or security risk.
21. Reporting Violations
Suspected misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or security concerns may be reported through Diversified Payday Support or by contacting:

Reports should include enough information to identify the account, conduct, or security issue.
22. Changes to This Policy
Diversified Payday may revise this Acceptable Use Policy to reflect changes in law, risk, security, technology, or the Services.
The Last Revised date and version number will be updated when changes are published.
Material changes may also be communicated through the website, platform, or account contact information where appropriate.
